Neurobehavioral disorders have taken off in our current generation. Today, ADHD is diagnosed in a significant portion of school aged children. As of 2011, a parent survey shows that approximately 11% of children 4-17 years of age have been diagnosed with ADHD. 11% does not seem like that much, what about when I tell you that 11% translates to 6.4 million children? Does that shock you? Autism statistics from the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identify around 1 in 68 American children on the autism spectrum, a dramatic increase compared to the last 40 years. Also, studies are showing that autism is four times more common among boys than girls. 1 out of 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls are diagnosed with autism in the United States.  Autism is predicted to affect more than 2 million individuals in the United States. Today, we are seeing many cases of anxiety and depression in kids as young as 4.
